These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Workout Planner mobile application (“App”) provided by ShapeYou (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the App you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
When we update these Terms we will notify you through the App. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Workout Planner generates personalised workout plans based on information you provide (fitness goals, physical stats, available equipment, etc.) using an AI-powered backend.
Health disclaimer. The workouts and content provided by the App are for general fitness and informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any exercise programme, especially if you have injuries, chronic conditions, or other health concerns. You exercise at your own risk.
You sign in via Google Sign-In (powered by Firebase Authentication). You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Notify us immediately at support@shapeyou.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
The App offers a free tier (limited workout generation quota) and a premium subscription with higher limits.
You agree not to:
All content, design, trademarks, and software in the App are owned by ShapeYou or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership to you.
Information you provide (questionnaire answers, injury notes, etc.) remains yours. By submitting it you grant us a licence to process it for the sole purpose of generating your workout plans.
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED ACCESS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHAPEYOU SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms. You may delete your account through the App at any time; upon deletion we will remove your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will increment the version number above and display a prompt in the App asking you to review and accept the updated Terms before continuing. If you do not accept the updated Terms, you must stop using the App.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ShapeYou is established, without regard to conflict of law principles.
